Booking Conditions

Booking Conditions for bookyourstay.travel

These Booking Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, form the basis of your contract with bookyourstay.travel ("we," "us," "our"). Please read them carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations. By making a booking with us, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Booking Conditions.

  1. Definitions
  • "Booking": The reservation of travel services (e.g., accommodation, flights, activities) through our Site.
  • "Customer," "You," "Your": The person making the booking and all persons on whose behalf the booking is made.
  • "Service Providers": Third-party companies or individuals who provide the travel services (e.g., hotels, airlines, tour operators).
  • "Site": The bookyourstay.travel website and any related mobile applications.
  • "Travel Services": The accommodation, flights, tours, activities, or other travel-related products booked through our Site.
  1. Booking and Payment

2.1 Making a Booking

To make a booking, you must follow the steps on our Site. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the relevant Service Provider. A contract will exist between you and the Service Provider when we send you a booking confirmation on their behalf.

2.2 Payment

You must pay for the Travel Services in full at the time of booking, or as otherwise specified on the Site or in your booking confirmation. We accept various payment methods as indicated on our Site. All payments are processed securely.

2.3 Pricing

All prices displayed on our Site are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed. Prices may include taxes and fees, but you should always check the details of your booking confirmation. Any additional charges, such as resort fees, local taxes, or baggage fees, are typically payable directly to the Service Provider and are not included in the price displayed on our Site unless explicitly stated.

  1. Changes and Cancellations by You

3.1 Changes

If you wish to make changes to your confirmed booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Changes are subject to the terms and conditions of the specific Service Provider and may incur additional charges or cancellation fees. We cannot guarantee that changes will be possible.

3.2 Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your confirmed booking, please notify us immediately. Cancellation policies vary depending on the Travel Service and Service Provider. You may be subject to cancellation fees, which can be up to 100% of the booking value. We will inform you of the applicable cancellation policy and any fees at the time of booking and in your confirmation. Refunds, if any, will be processed according to the Service Provider's policy.

  1. Changes and Cancellations by bookyourstay.travel or Service Providers

4.1 Minor Changes

Occasionally, Service Providers may need to make minor changes to your booking (e.g., slight schedule adjustments). We will inform you of any such changes as soon as reasonably possible.

4.2 Significant Changes or Cancellations

In rare circumstances, a Service Provider may need to make a significant change to your booking or cancel it entirely. If this happens, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the following options, where applicable and available from the Service Provider:

  • Accept the revised arrangements.
  • Choose an alternative Travel Service of a similar standard and price, if available.
  • Receive a full refund of the money you have paid for the affected Travel Service.

We will not be liable for any additional costs or expenses incurred by you as a result of such changes or cancellations by Service Providers.

  1. Our Liability

We act as an agent for the Service Providers. Our responsibility is limited to facilitating your booking and transmitting your payment to the Service Provider. We are not responsible for the actual provision of the Travel Services.

We will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience caused by:

  • The acts or omissions of Service Providers.
  • Force Majeure events (see Section 8).
  • Your failure to comply with these Booking Conditions or the terms of the Service Providers.
  • Any other cause beyond our reasonable control.
  1. Your Responsibilities

6.1 Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during the booking process (e.g., names, dates, passport details) is accurate and matches your official identification documents. Any errors may lead to additional charges or cancellation of your booking.

6.2 Travel Documents

You are responsible for obtaining and carrying all necessary travel documents, including passports, visas, and health certificates, as required by the destinations you are visiting.

6.3 Health and Safety

You are responsible for ensuring you are fit to travel and that you comply with all health and safety regulations of the Service Providers and destinations.

6.4 Compliance with Rules

You must comply with the rules and regulations of all Service Providers (e.g., airline baggage allowances, hotel check-in/check-out times).

  1. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. This insurance should cover cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, personal liability, loss of luggage, and other unforeseen events.

  1. Force Majeure

We and the Service Providers will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of our obligations under these Booking Conditions if such failure or delay is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, or government restrictions ("Force Majeure"). In such cases, the Service Provider's policy on Force Majeure will apply.

  1. Complaints

If you have a complaint about your Travel Services, you must inform the relevant Service Provider immediately during your trip to allow them the opportunity to resolve the issue. If the issue is not resolved to your satisfaction, please contact us in writing within 28 days of your return. We will do our best to assist you in resolving the complaint with the Service Provider, but we cannot guarantee a specific outcome.

  1. Governing Law

These Booking Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of UK, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Booking Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of UK.
